After viewing all the applicants for the role of presenter, as a group we all thought that Samantha would be the best fit for the job as she was interested in presenting and had some experience with presenting. With this we think that she will add a higher value to the show and make it look and feel more professional, as she can tell the stories with a good set of presenting skills. We thought she was good as she and a good tone of voice, read the script really good and presented it fluently with little mistakes.
On the day of filming ewe told she to come in formal wear and have her hair down. She was very happy to be apart of the production and co-operated perfectly with us and all our needs.
Overall i was very happy with the decision to cast her as i liked her from the first interview. I won't change another about the decision made and i am confident that she has brought a professional aspect to the news show and added value to it.
