Today was our reshoot for our presenter scene, Ruby, Charlie and I went into the board room which is a smaller room than before as people told us that it easier to do the green screen in as smaller room. With the help of Alex Boorman (professional freelancer, camera operator and editor) and together we had another shot with lighting the green screen. Alex suggested that we, moved the desk as far away from the green screen as possible,m this will prevent us casting shadows, this really worked good to both light the green screen and avoid shadows. After we place two light in line with her desk and face them al the green screen to light it up. Then we placed one light directly in front of Samantha to light her hop form the front. Ruby suggest that we placed one of the light behind her, but we went against it as we thought it ,might cast a shadow and be in shot. The filming went smoothly as Samantha is a drilling actor an d remember the whole script, so the takes were all shot as one continues shot. This will make it wearier to edit in post.
After looking at the footage we noticed that Samantha looked a little flat to the background, from this we realised that we should have listen to Ruby's idea of lighting her form the back. However it is now too late and the footage it's that bad.
Overall the second shoot went really good as we got all we wanted plus more and we lit the green screen and Samantha much better. The only problem was the image looking a little flat due to the lack of back lighting to Samantha. However as it's not that bad i say it was a successful day of filming. The only thing i'd change is, maybe getting more different angels and booking out a dolly to do a nice dolly in for the intro.
