Digital News Production - Graphics - Intro Ideas

With the graphic intro ideas, I didn't really know what I wanted to do and my group were stuck to, so I took a look at some other news intros.

I looked at the BBC and thought that this would be a bit too much for our news channel as ours is more nature and non serious. 

With this intro, as it's more of a non serious news show, I thought it would be good to look at and see what they did. It's very very simple and I think it's too simple for what i imagined for our news show. However I like the colours used and that they put a mustard bot in the middle for identity, i would want to do the same with our logo.

I found some templates for what I think would be good for our intro;

With this one, I really like the vines and how they go to the logo and all the green animations, this could be good for our intro but will have to wait to show my group of their input. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's a bit too depressing and it looks a bit like a jungle program. 

With this one, I don't like the colour, however that can be changed in After Effects. But I still don't like how it reminds me of count down. Also its too world news and not enough local news as our show is. However I could work with it and change some things like take out the clock and good and put out logo and some nature shots in. 

This one is far too much like the BBC one so it would be out of the question as it is now. However as it's a template it can be changed, I would change the colour to a green or brown, change the good to out logo and remove the massive breaking news. Also I don't like the music behind it so i would remove that too. This is a lot of work for this one to work but if i have tondo it I will.

Overall I'm confident that I can find a good template and edit it to make it more for our channel and fit our show. I need to work on my after effect skill, however I will have the help of Ruby who knows a few things about it.
