Digital News Production - Personal Overview of the Project

Over this project I felt that i have worked very well in my group and with the group as a vital team member of it. I enjoyed working with my group and would do so again, if chosen to. During this project i have felt like i've done the most work i've ever done, especially with the pre-production and post production, which includes of me doing the Lodge Hills alone and reassembling the presenter script alone too. I also did a big deal in the production as i was a reporter for the kent Life package, and did the camera of it and the lodge hill shoot, with Ruby. Also I directed the presenter shoots, which i particularly enjoyed as i got to do something that i rarely do and enjoy. However i think that the main bulk of my effort was in the post production with the graphics and editing. I constructed, edited and assembled the edit for the live piece after loosing the edit that Charlie did and having to start from scratch. Also I edited the presenter scene and with the help of Ruby designed the whole news room, desk, Tv big screen, little screen and the moving graphics, using application suck as after effect which i have little experience with and photo shot which i have non in. All this was possible with the help of Ruby as she is a master at photo shop and know quite a bit about after effect and with our minds at work together we created a great master piece. I am plaeased of the work from my group with Charlie doing the web, Facebook and Youtube pages and writing up the stories, and Ruby's editing skills for the Kent Lifer package, and amazing skills with photoshop and after effects. However i am most proud, amazed and pleased with myself, as i never thought i could do a lot of the things that I've done through out this project. So overall i'm very pleased with the turn out and hope for the best grade!
