Digital News Production - Logo Ideas

I had a lot of logo ideas, I thought about our news programme being nature themed so I thought we could do our name (Kent Nature News) on a white or brown or nature background and have animals vids in the letters.

 With the back ground, I thought we could have a brown or white one. Brown because its quite nature themed like mug and its would be nice to put behind as bright logo. White because its plain and simple and thats sometimes quite nice and elegant, and i think it add a little more production value to a logo rather than tacky colours.

 With the writing i thought that it would look good to have the words 'kent nature news' in big bold letters than have animals inside the letters, either as stills or vids. However this might be a bit hard to do as i'm not a pro at after effects and won't know how to do it and it would take me ages to learn and will be a bit too time consuming. Also it might come across as a bit tacky or childish so if we would move forward with this idea then we would have to work heard to design a nice and elegant one to avoid getting tacky.

 Another idea I had was to have a leaf and inside the leaf to have either a stamp or imprint or have the name under the leaf. I thought we could have a single leaf, possible green as it looks fresh and full of nature. With this leaf we could have a stamp like a link stamp of the name.

Another idea is to have a leaf with an imprint of our name in the leaf. I presented this idea to my group and they all agreed that the leaf would be a good idea for the logo.

We then looked more into what kind of leaf we wanted and where we wanted the name to appear, we thought that we could have a plain single leaf greeny brown, then have our name running a bit through and under the leaf.
